GLADIATOR DIRECTED BY RIDLEY SCOTT         I have done over 35 films and more than 30 television projects. GLADIATOR was the most wonderful experience of them all, artistically, professionally and personally. I knew we were doing a special film that would be great. I had wanted to work with RIDLEY SCOTT since seeing THE DUELISTS, his first film.         On Sunday, January 31, 1999, at 1:30 am I finished shooting a film in Madras, India. I got on a British Airways flight at 7:00 am from Madras nonstop to London, arriving in Heathrow airport about 2:30 PM.
